The Role
We are currently recruiting for experienced Reach Truck Drivers to join a fast-paced food manufacturing site based in ST5.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for ongoing, stable work with immediate starts available, with the potential to secure a permanent position.
Please note: This role involves working in a freezer environment at temperatures of up to -25°C, therefore the ability to work in these conditions is essential.
Shift Patterns & Working Days
- Fixed Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday, 14:00-22:00
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Reach Truck in a safe and efficient manner
- Using a Pedestrian Pallet Truck (PPT) where required
- Transporting goods across warehouse and freezer areas
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Picking and moving stock accurately
- Following all health & safety and site procedures
- Supporting general warehouse duties when needed
Working Environment
- Work will be carried out in a freezer environment (up to -25°C)
- Full PPE is provided, including thermal jackets and protective clothing suitable for low temperatures
Requirements
- Valid Reach Truck licence - essential
- Minimum 1 year experience operating a Reach Truck - essential
- PPT (Pedestrian Pallet Truck) experience/licence - preferred
- Previous experience in a warehouse or food production environment
- Must be comfortable working in freezer temperatures (-25°C)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work set shift patterns
- Available to start immediately
