KPI Recruiting are on the look out for a Customer Delivery Assistant for our client based in Bolton. The hours and days as a Customer Delivery Assistant are: 5 out of 7 days per week, Start time 06:45- varied finish times (8-10 hours per day).

The rate of pay as a Customer Delivery Assistant is: £12.81 p/h.

The duties and responsibilities as a Customer Delivery Assistant are:

  • To safely deliver, install and demonstrate White Goods, Televisions and Cookers in our customers' property.
  • Engaging with customers, keeping them informed and ensuring their delivery and our installation is carried out to the highest standard following best practice guidance.
  • To maintain regular contact with your site throughout the day to meet any changes to a customer delivery request, discussing and escalating unplanned issues, seeking guidance and adapting as necessary.
  • To ensure the handheld operating device (Savvy) is always used correctly by completing visits and obtaining customer signatures.
  • To liaise with Manufacturers at the point of delivery when necessary.
  • To handle all products safely and with care, supporting your colleagues to do the same.
  • Able to meet the physical requirements of the role.
  • To ensure you follow continuous professional development, maintaining your driving license and ensuring required training and knowledge is kept up to date.
  • Manage changing volumes of load held in the vehicle during the day.
  • Regularly review, adjust, and secure the load to ensure safety whilst using equipment provided (i.e., straps and sack barrows).
  • To work compliantly, following site specific requirements, company and health and safety policies, to keep our Customers and Colleagues safe.
  • To represent the external face of Currys, acting as a brand ambassador by role modelling our values and demonstrating our customer's first behaviours.
  • To carry out the delivery and collection of tote boxes and products from our retail stores.
