An ambitious, inclusive, and nurturing primary school in the Outer London Borough of Redbridge is seeking to appoint an outstanding EYFS Leader to join its dedicated team on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Early Years practitioner who is committed to providing exceptional learning experiences for young children and leading a thriving EYFS provision with creativity, vision, and high expectations.

The successful candidate will:
- Be an experienced EYFS teacher with a strong understanding of the EYFS Framework
- Have proven leadership experience or the ambition and capability to step into a leadership role
- Be passionate about early childhood development and high-quality provision
- Lead and develop an engaging, inclusive, and inspiring EYFS curriculum
- Support, motivate, and mentor staff within the Early Years team
- Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and raise attainment
- Create stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environments
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and external agencies
- Drive improvements and contribute positively to the wider leadership of the school
Key responsibilities:
- Leading the strategic development of the EYFS provision across Nursery and Reception
- Ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, behaviour, and achievement
- Monitoring teaching and learning through observations, coaching, and feedback
- Leading curriculum planning and ensuring progression across the Early Years curriculum
- Promoting excellent safeguarding and wellbeing practices within EYFS
- Supporting transition arrangements into Reception and into Key Stage 1
- Analysing data and implementing targeted strategies to improve outcomes for all learners
