KPi Education is recruiting a dedicated Therapeutic Integration Practitioner (TIP) to support young people with SEMH, autism, trauma, and complex behavioural needs within a specialist, community-based education provision in Acton. This role supports learners who are unable to attend mainstream school and require a highly personalised, therapeutic approach to education.
About the Role
As a TIP, you will play a key role in the assessment, induction, and integration of young people entering the provision. You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and senior staff to design and deliver a bespoke integration pathway, supporting students back into structured education or training.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting learners through initial assessment and integration phases
- Helping young people build towards structured education programmes
- Developing strong therapeutic relationships with students and families
- Coordinating individualised timetables and community-based learning
- Supporting engagement in therapeutic and educational interventions
- Implementing behaviour and integration plans using de-escalation strategies
- Liaising with families, schools, and external professionals
- Completing risk assessments, progress tracking, and documentation
- Maintaining a strong focus on safeguarding and wellbeing
This is a high-impact, hands-on role requiring resilience, flexibility, and emotional intelligence.

Person Specification
To be considered, you should have:
- A degree in a relevant field (Psychology, Education, Youth Work, Social Care, or similar desirable)
- Strong experience supporting young people with complex SEN and behaviour
- Knowledge of trauma-informed practice and therapeutic education
- Confidence using de-escalation and behaviour support strategies
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- High levels of resilience, organisation, and professionalism
- A clear commitment to safeguarding and inclusion
