We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established industrial supplies business, for a reliable and experienced warehouse operative to join their small, friendly team on a long-term, part-time basis. The Role
Working within a busy but well-organised warehouse environment, you will be supporting the day-to-day operations across a range of duties.
Responsibilities
- Operating a counterbalance forklift truck (approximately 20% of the role)
- Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Carrying out stock takes and supporting inventory management
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- General warehouse housekeeping and organisation
Qualifications
- A valid, externally accredited Counterbalance Forklift certificate is essential
- Previous warehouse experience in a similar environment
- The ability to perform regular manual handling and lifting duties on a systematic basis
- A practical, sensible approach to work – someone who takes care, follows procedure, and takes health and safety seriously
- Good reliability and punctuality – a consistent, dependable presence is key
Working Hours
2–3 days per week, 09:00 to approximately 15:00–16:00, with days to be confirmed. This is a long-term placement with a stable, established business.
