We are currently recruiting on behalf of a high-achieving secondary school in the Redbridge area of London, seeking an ambitious and inspirational Deputy Head of English to join their successful and well-established department. The Role

  • Support the Head of English in providing strong leadership and strategic direction for the department

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in English or a related subject

  • Demonstrates strong leadership potential or existing middle leadership experience
  • Excellent subject knowledge with the ability to inspire both students and staff
  • Skilled in using data to raise attainment and drive improvement
  • Strong communication, organisational, and decision-making skills
