KPI Recruiting are on the lookout for Parcel Sorters to join our client's busy warehouse team. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals looking to secure long-term, temp-to-perm work in a fast-paced environment.
As a Parcel Sorter, you will be responsible for sorting, loading, and unloading parcels, which will involve manual lifting of items up to 17kg. You will need to be comfortable with repetitive lifting, moving items safely, and working quickly to meet deadlines.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Sorting parcels accurately based on delivery routes
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Lifting and moving parcels weighing up to 17kg
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work area
- Following health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Previous warehouse operative or parcel sorting experience is preferred
- Good level of physical fitness for manual lifting
- Reliability and punctuality are essential
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
PPE Required
- Safety boots
- Hi-vis vest
This role offers competitive pay of £12.71 per hour Morning shift and £13.00 per hour on Night shift and the potential to move into a permanent position after a successful probation period.
