As a Flexographic Printer Assistant your working hours and days are:
- 4 out of 7 days per week
- 06:00- 18:00
The rate of pay as a Flexographic Printer Assistant is:
- £13.00- £14.00 p/h
Key Responsibilities as a Flexographic Printer Assistant
- Assist press operators with the setup, operation, and changeover of flexographic printing presses
- Prepare and stage production materials, including substrates, inks, plates, and other consumables
- Clean and maintain press components such as anilox rollers, ink pans, and related equipment
- Monitor print quality throughout production and promptly report any issues or inconsistencies to the press operator
- Support routine maintenance activities and assist with basic troubleshooting tasks
- Handle production waste and ensure materials are disposed of safely and in accordance with company procedures
- Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked work area
- Complete production records, job documentation, and quality control reports accurately
- Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures
Requirements as a Flexographic Printer Assistant
- Secondary school education or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or printing environment is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Physically fit and capable of lifting materials and standing for extended periods
- Basic mathematical and measurement skills
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime when required
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn new skills
