The Opportunity
Are you an electrically qualified maintenance professional looking for a varied, hands‑on role? We're recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join the Facilities team of a well-established national business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of electrical maintenance and general facilities work, helping to keep multiple sites safe, compliant and operating efficiently. No two days are the same. You'll be carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns, completing installations and repairs, and supporting the overall upkeep of the sites. A company vehicle will be provided for travel between sites when required.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults
- Complete electrical installations and minor project work
- Undertake testing, inspections and certification where required
- Support the general maintenance and upkeep of buildings and facilities
- Complete site surveys and maintenance reports
- Order parts and maintain tools and equipment
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with regulations
What we're looking for
Essential
- City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition)
- Level 3 Electrical Qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience working with 3-phase electrical systems
Desirable
- City & Guilds 2391 (Testing & Inspection)
- Experience completing electrical certification
- Previous maintenance or facilities experience
