The Role
Working within a 2-3 person installation crew, you'll install residential Solar PV systems on customers' homes, ensuring every installation is completed safely, professionally and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Installing roof mounting systems and Solar PV panels on domestic properties
- Preparing roofs, including tile removal and replacement where required
- Working safely at height using appropriate fall protection equipment
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Assisting electrical colleagues by preparing cable routes and positioning equipment
- Carrying out site safety checks and maintaining a clean working environment
- Completing installations within agreed timescales while maintaining excellent quality
- Treating customers' homes with care and delivering exceptional customer service
What We're Looking For
- Previous Solar PV installation experience
- Roofing experience
- CSCS Card
- Working at Height certification
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong understanding of health and safety
- Reliable team player with a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
