KPI Education is proud to be partnering with a leading independent school to recruit an exceptional Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo) to join their thriving campus on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious SEND professional to lead an established provision within a modern learning environment where every student is encouraged to reach their full potential.

Working closely with senior leaders, you'll drive an inclusive strategy that ensures every learner receives the personalised support they need to flourish academically and personally.

The Role

  • Lead and develop the school's SEND strategy and provision across the campus.
  • Ensure students with additional needs receive high-quality, personalised support.
  • Manage and develop a team of Teaching Assistants and Learning Support staff.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to embed inclusive classroom practice.
  • Design and oversee bespoke intervention programmes that accelerate progress.
  • Coordinate EHCP provision, annual reviews and partnerships with external agencies.
  • Lead on Access Arrangements and examination support.
  • Monitor student progress, ensuring outstanding outcomes for learners with SEND.
  • Support staff through coaching, lesson observations and professional development.
  • We're Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A minimum of three years' teaching experience
  • NASENCO or NPQ for SENDCo (or equivalent)
  • Extensive experience supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, physical disabilities and a wide range of additional learning needs
  • Proven leadership experience managing support staff and improving SEND provision
  • Strong knowledge of EHCPs, Access Arrangements and statutory SEND processes
  • A collaborative leadership style with a passion for inclusive education
  • High expectations and a genuine commitment to improving life chances for every learner
