The Role

The successful SENDCO will play a key role in overseeing and developing SEND provision across the school.

Key responsibilities will include

  • Leading and coordinating SEND strategy and provision across the school.
  • Working closely with teachers, support staff, parents and external agencies.
  • Ensuring EHCP targets and interventions are effectively implemented and reviewed.
  • Monitoring student progress and identifying appropriate support strategies.
  • Supporting staff with inclusive teaching approaches and SEND best practice.
  • Maintaining statutory compliance and accurate SEND documentation.
  • Promoting a positive, inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are keen to hear from

Qualified SENDCOs who hold the NASENCO, NPQ for SENCOs, or an equivalent recognised SENDCO qualification.

  • Experienced SENDCOs seeking a rewarding new challenge within a specialist setting.
