KPI Recruiting are on the look out for a Class 1 Container Drivers for our client based in Coatbridge.
As a Class 1 Driver your days and hours are
- 5 out of 7 days per week
- 06:00/09:00- varied finish time
The rate of pay as a Class 1 Driver is
- £17.75
The duties and responsibilities as a Class 1 Driver are
- Container deliveries
- Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage
- Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed
- Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability
- Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices
- Complete shunting duties in the yard once deliveries are completed
The ideal candidate for a Class 1 Driver would require
- Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence
- Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
- Experience of refrigerated trailers is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Confident, polite, and a team player
- Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated
- Minimum 6 months experience
