KPI Recruiting are on the look out for a Class 1 Container Drivers for our client based in Coatbridge.

As a Class 1 Driver your days and hours are

  • 5 out of 7 days per week
  • 06:00/09:00- varied finish time

The rate of pay as a Class 1 Driver is

  • £17.75

The duties and responsibilities as a Class 1 Driver are

  • Container deliveries
  • Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage
  • Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed
  • Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability
  • Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices
  • Complete shunting duties in the yard once deliveries are completed

The ideal candidate for a Class 1 Driver would require

  • Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence
  • Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
  • Experience of refrigerated trailers is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Confident, polite, and a team player
  • Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated
  • Minimum 6 months experience
