Pay: £110–£150 per day

Contract: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Are you a Chemistry Graduate looking to gain valuable experience within a secondary school?
We are currently recruiting for a Chemistry Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Tower Hamlets, E1.
The role:

Supporting students across the secondary school

Providing 1:1 and small-group support

Supporting students with their academic development
-
Assisting with Science and Chemistry lessons

Helping students understand challenging scientific concepts

Working alongside teachers and the SEN team
-
Supporting students with additional learning needs
-
Helping students build confidence, independence and engagement
The ideal candidate:
-
Chemistry degree – 2:1 or above
-
Strong academic background in Chemistry
-
Passionate about education and supporting young people
-
Confident, patient and approachable
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Interested in pursuing a career in teaching, education, Science or a related field

Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential
DBS required – applicants without a DBS can be supported through the process.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Chemistry Graduate to gain hands-on experience in a secondary school while developing valuable classroom, pastoral and SEN experience.
