The Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff and wider support teams to help pupils reach their full academic, social, and emotional potential. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting classroom learning across a range of curriculum areas
- Delivering literacy, numeracy, and learning interventions to small groups of pupils
- Providing personalised 1:1 support for children and young people requiring additional guidance
- Supporting pupils with SEND and other barriers to learning
- Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence, independence, and engagement
- Assisting with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and learning resources
- Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment
