The Role
As a Teacher of Maths, you will join a dynamic and forward-thinking Mathematics department, delivering engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 for suitable candidates.
- Planning and delivering high-quality Maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Differentiating teaching to meet the needs of all learners
- Monitoring and assessing student progress, implementing strategies to raise attainment
- Promoting high expectations of behaviour and academic achievement
- Contributing to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives
- Supporting students to develop confidence and fluency in Mathematics
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is working towards achieving it
- Has a strong academic background in Mathematics or a related subject
- Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Maths education
- Is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
- Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Is reflective, driven, and eager to develop professionally
