Good graded Secondary School & Sixth Form in Central Cambridge is seeking a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant. The role is available ASAP with interviews and starts scheduled for Monday to Friday, 8.15am to 3.30pm. The position offers a salary of £510 to £550 per week plus additional benefits.

This is an ideal opportunity for Maths Graduates interested in training as a teacher, with salaried teacher training available from September 2026, leading to QTS and PGCE qualifications.

As a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support and promote maths progress
  • Work with all age and ability levels (11 to 18 years)
  • Commit to the role for the remainder of the academic year at least

The person specification includes:

  • High calibre Maths graduates (1st or 2:1 preferred)
  • Matching A levels and GCSEs are a must
  • Graduates with related subjects (Physics, Engineering, etc.) are welcome
  • Must be able to commit to this role for the remainder of the academic year
