Are you a passionate and enthusiastic early years professional ready to make a real difference in the lives of young children? We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive school team, working across Nursery and Reception classes.
Start Date: After February Half Term
Contract: Full-Time Temp to perm role
Opportunity: Potential to train as a teacher from September 2026
Salary: £500 - £550 a week
Who we’re looking for:
- Are an EYFS graduate or hold a CACHE Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
- Have a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
- Are passionate about supporting the learning, development and well-being of young children.
- Ideally have experience in writing reports, observations and assessments to support pupil progress.
- Hold an Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or willing to get one.
Role Overview:
- Support the delivery of high-quality learning experiences across Nursery and Reception classes.
- Help create a nurturing, stimulating and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
- Observe, assess and contribute to children’s progress records and report writing.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and families to support each child’s individual development.
