- Prep Operative / Waxoyl Operative to join our client based in
Bolton .
This is a hands‑on role within a busy manufacturing environment, supporting production and ensuring products are prepared to the highest standard.
What you'll be doing
- Applying Waxoyl to beams across all production lines.
- Moving completed beams to the warehouse using a pallet truck when stillages are full.
- Replacing empty stillages to keep production running efficiently.
- Booking completed beams into the warehouse.
- Nutting up beams as required.
- Carrying out rubber cutting duties.
- Completing cup and studding tasks when required.
- Assisting with drilling duties when needed.
- Keeping your work area clean, tidy, and organised.
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times.
- Carrying out any other reasonable duties as requested by management.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is beneficial.
- Experience using a pallet truck is advantageous.
- A good work ethic and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to health and safety.
- Flexibility to support different areas of production when required.
