This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing and delivering high-quality SEND provision within a mainstream primary setting, working closely with pupils who have a range of additional needs, supporting them to access the curriculum, develop confidence, and achieve positive outcomes.

What's the role?

  • Deliver tailored teaching and intervention programmes for pupils with SEND.
  • Support pupils with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language needs, and SEMH.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of EHCP targets and individual support plans.
  • Work collaboratively with class teachers to promote inclusive classroom practice.
  • Monitor pupil progress and adapt provision to meet individual needs.
  • Build strong relationships with families and external professionals.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS or is currently completing ECT induction.
  • Has a genuine passion for SEND and inclusive education.
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils with additional needs.
  • Is calm, resilient and adaptable.
  • Works effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • SEN experience is desirable.
