The Role
As a Graduate Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering focused 1:1 and small-group support to enable pupils to access the curriculum.
- Working collaboratively with the SENCO, class teachers, and external professionals.
- Supporting the implementation of EHCP strategies and personalised learning plans.
- Encouraging pupils’ confidence, independence, and positive learning behaviours.
- Contributing to a supportive, inclusive, and structured learning environment.

Person Specification
We are seeking a high-calibre graduate who:
- Holds a 2:1 or above from a Russell Group or top-tier university in Psychology or a closely related subject.
- Demonstrates a strong and genuine interest in supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
- Is empathetic, patient, resilient, and professional.
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Has experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential).
