The Role
As an Unqualified Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver lessons within your subject specialism (with guidance and structured schemes of work)
- Take responsibility for your own classes across KS3 and KS4
- Assess, monitor and track pupil progress
- Contribute to departmental planning and intervention strategies
- Develop behaviour management strategies and classroom presence
- Work closely with an experienced mentor teacher
Core subject graduates are particularly encouraged to apply, including:

- Mathematics
- Science (Biology, Chemistry or Physics)
- Humanities (History/Geography)
- Modern Foreign Languages

Who We’re Looking For
- A First-Class or strong 2:1 degree from a Russell Group or Top 30 university
- Strong A-Level and GCSE results, particularly in your subject specialism
- A clear intention to pursue teacher training in the future
- Confidence, resilience and strong communication skills
- The ability to command a classroom and build positive relationships
- Prior tutoring, mentoring or school experience desirable but not essential
