The Role
- You will join a successful Maths department and begin developing your classroom practice from day one.
- With structured support and mentoring, you will gradually build the skills required to become an effective and confident teacher.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting and delivering Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential KS5 involvement
- Adapting teaching to support both high-achieving students and those requiring additional help
- Planning lessons, assessing student progress, and developing behaviour management strategies
- Observing experienced teachers and applying best practice in your own teaching
- Participating in weekly training focused on pedagogy, curriculum, and classroom practice
- Gradually taking on increased teaching responsibility throughout the year
