Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their busy and fast-paced finance team in Winsford. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional looking to become part of a successful and expanding business.
The Role
Reporting into the Finance Team, you will play a key role in maintaining an accurate purchase ledger and supporting the smooth running of the accounts payable function. Responsibilities will include:
- Processing supplier invoices and payments.
- Reconciling supplier statements and investigating discrepancies.
- Monitoring and reconciling GRNI (Goods Received Not Invoiced) accounts.
- Resolving supplier and internal queries efficiently.
- Producing weekly and monthly management reports.
- Providing general administrative support to the finance department.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience within Purchase Ledger, Accounts Payable, or a similar finance role.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a busy, high-volume environment.
- AAT qualification or studies towards AAT (desirable).
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite (advantageous).
