Our client, a main franchised dealership, in Slough has the requirement for an experienced MOT Tester & Vehicle Technician to join their established team.
MOT Tester & Vehicle Technician Responsibilities
As an MOT Tester & Vehicle Technician your responsibilities will include:
- Carry out MOT Tests to DVSA standards
- Liaise with Workshop Controller and Service department regarding test result
- Carry out re-tests as appropriate
- Carry of Rectification on MOT failures.
- Carry out Service work and repairs.
- Carry out quality inspections
- Keep up-to-date DVSA process and procedure
- Maintaining electronic records in a complete and accurate manner
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- Active MOT Testing licence
- Level 3 qualification in light vehicle maintenance
- 2 years MOT Testing Experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable Requirements:
- Franchised Dealer Experience
- Level 3 Qualification or Equivalent
- Manufacturer Accreditations
Remuneration & Benefits
- Basic Salary up to £35,000 DOE
- On Target Earnings up to £45,000
