Our client, a busy franchised main dealership in Peterborough, has the requirement for an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk to join their busy Accounts team.

Sales Ledger Clerk Responsibilities

  • Achieve a consistently high standard of ledger maintenance
  • Post receipts and daily banking
  • Allocate correct invoices to ledger
  • Ensure that sales ledger/each banking is fully reconciled
  • Post journals
  • Chase overdue invoices and payments
  • Conduct Experian credit checks
  • Manage internal and external debt payment enquiries

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum of 12 months Motor Trade Sales Ledger Clerk (or similar) experience. Our client would consider Motor Trade Accounts Assistants, Credit Controller and Book Keepers that have had exposure to Sales Ledger as part of their responsibilities.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Kerridge experience

Remuneration & Benefits

Salary of up to £26,000 DOE. Great Benefits Package. 37.5 hour week.
