Our client, a busy franchised dealership in Borehamwood, requires an experienced Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join their established workshop team. Vehicle Technicians – Mechanics returning to the motortrade are most welcome.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure servicing & repairs are carried out to manufacturer standards.
- Perform cambelt, clutch, gearbox & engine repairs/replacements.
- Conduct electrical & mechanical diagnostics.
- Handle mechanic warranty repairs.
- Carry out MOT testing to DVSA standards (if qualified).
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
- 2 years Post Apprenticeship Experience
- Full and clean UK Driving Licence
Desirable Requirements:
- Class 4 MOT Licence
- Manufacturer Accreditations
- MOT Licence (Class 4 & 7)
Remuneration & Benefits
- Basic Salary of up to £35,000 DOE
- On Target Earnings of £40,000
