The Role
  • Supporting students with additional learning needs across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Providing one-to-one and small group interventions
  • Assisting pupils with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and other learning differences
  • Helping students remain engaged and confident within lessons
  • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams
  • Monitoring progress and providing feedback to teaching staff
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

  • A graduate in any subject area
  • Passion for supporting young people and making a positive difference
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Patient, resilient and empathetic approach
  • Interest in education, educational psychology, speech and language therapy, social work or mental health support
  • Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
