  • Maintain confidential medical records and accident reports.

  • Liaise with parents, carers, GPs and external healthcare professionals where appropriate.

  • Promote health, wellbeing and positive lifestyle choices across the school.

  • Ensure the medical room is fully stocked, compliant and organised at all times.

  • Assist with medical arrangements for educational visits and school events.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience as a School Nurse, Welfare Officer, Healthcare Assistant, Nurse, Paramedic, First Aider or similar healthcare role.

  • A recognised First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain one).

  • Nursing registration (NMC) is desirable but not essential depending on experience.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • A calm, empathetic and professional approach when supporting young people.

  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a wider pastoral team.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

  • The right to work in the UK.

What the School Offers

  • A welcoming and inclusive secondary school with a strong focus on student wellbeing.

  • A supportive leadership team that genuinely values staff.

  • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

  • Modern facilities and a well‑equipped medical room.

  • A varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.

  • Excellent public transport links across North West London.

  • The opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people every day.
