A high-performing and well-regarded primary school within a leading multi-academy trust is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Teaching Assistants to join their team on a full-time fixed-term basis starting in September. About the Role: This is a dynamic and rewarding opportunity where you will support teaching and learning across the school. You will:

  • Work across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, supporting all year groups
  • Assist in delivering engaging and well-structured lessons alongside class teachers
  • Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups of pupils
  • Confidently cover whole classes when required, ensuring continuity of learning
  • Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
  • Support pupils’ academic progress as well as their personal development

This role is ideal for a graduate or aspiring teacher who is flexible, proactive, and confident working across different age groups.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A degree in Early Childhood, Education Studies, Maths, English, or a related subject
  • Strong academic background, including good A Levels and GCSEs (A–C) in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children in a school or similar setting is desirable
  • Ability to support both KS1 and KS2
  • Confidence in managing and leading a class when needed
  • Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for education and supporting young learners

Interview Process: As part of the selection process, shortlisted candidates will be required to sit a Year 6 SATs-style assessment, designed to evaluate core skills in literacy and numeracy.
