Based in Redbridge, East London, we are seeking an exceptional Teacher of Economics (ECT) to join our successful and thriving department from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic new teacher to develop their practice within a highly experienced, collaborative and ambitious team committed to delivering exceptional outcomes for students.

Whether you are completing your PGCE, School Direct programme or teacher training route, we are looking for someone with strong subject knowledge, enthusiasm for Economics and the ability to inspire curiosity, critical thinking and academic ambition in young people. You will join a large, successful and highly regarded Economics department, where the subject is exceptionally popular at GCSE and A Level, with many students progressing to study Economics, Finance, PPE, Business and related disciplines at leading universities.

  • Are completing, or have recently completed, teacher training in Economics, Business, Social Sciences or a related discipline
  • Have a strong academic background and excellent subject knowledge in Economics
