A nurturing and inclusive primary school in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing and delivering high-quality SEND provision within a mainstream primary setting, working closely with pupils who have a range of additional needs, supporting them to access the curriculum, develop confidence, and achieve positive outcomes.
What's the role?
- Deliver tailored teaching and intervention programmes for pupils with SEND.
- Support pupils with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language needs, and SEMH.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of EHCP targets and individual support plans.
- Work collaboratively with class teachers to promote inclusive classroom practice.
- Monitor pupil progress and adapt provision to meet individual needs.
- Build strong relationships with families and external professionals.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds QTS or is currently completing ECT induction.
- Has a genuine passion for SEND and inclusive education.
- Can build positive relationships with pupils with additional needs.
- Is calm, resilient, and adaptable.
- Works effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- SEN experience is desirable.
