About the Role

As a Science Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and students to support learning across Biology, Chemistry and Physics lessons. You will help pupils build confidence in the classroom, assist with practical activities, and contribute to creating an engaging and positive learning environment.

This role is ideal for anyone considering a future career in teaching, educational psychology, youth work or science-based professions.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting students in Science lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Providing targeted interventions and small group support

  • Assisting with practical experiments and laboratory preparation

  • Supporting students with additional learning needs where required

  • Helping to maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment

  • Working alongside experienced Science teachers and support staff

Salary

£25,000 – £28,000 pro rata (dependent on experience)
