We are seeking a committed and experienced Qualified Maths Teacher to join a brand new, purpose-built specialist secondary school opening this September in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new provision supporting young people aged 11–18 who require additional support to succeed in education.
About the Role
You will deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5), helping students to build confidence, numeracy skills, and a positive relationship with learning. You will play a key role in adapting the curriculum to meet a wide range of individual needs within a supportive and structured environment.

About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching Maths at secondary level
- Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum
- GCSEs and A-Levels in Maths (or equivalent), demonstrating a strong academic background in the subject
- Significant experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- A patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach to teaching
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Right to work within the UK
- Experience in specialist or alternative provision settings
- Understanding of differentiated and personalised learning strategies
- Knowledge of trauma-informed or therapeutic approaches
