What’s the role?When teaching Nutrition, you will:
- Deliver engaging lessons focused on nutrition, healthy eating, food preparation and food science
- Support students in developing practical and theoretical knowledge
- Work closely with experienced mentors and teaching professionals
- Complete a recognised teacher training programme leading to QTS
The programme is structured to help you grow in confidence and ability:
- 4 days in school – gaining hands-on experience
- 1 day per week – PGCE study and professional development
- Term 1: Observe experienced teachers and support lessons to learn the fundamentals
- Term 2: Begin planning and delivering your own lessons
