A well-established all-through SEN school in Wood Green is seeking a dedicated and adaptable SEN Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis. - Plan and deliver differentiated lessons across the curriculum (flexible depending on experience and phase)
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils with SEND and SEMH
- Create a positive, structured classroom environment that supports behaviour and engagement
- Work closely with teaching assistants and therapists to deliver a collaborative approach
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, ensuring alignment with EHCP outcomes
- Implement behaviour strategies that support emotional regulation
- Build strong relationships with pupils, families and external professionals
Requirements:
- Holds QTS or equivalent
- Has experience teaching within SEN, primary or secondary settings
- Has experience with SEND/SEMH or is confident working in a specialist environment
- Is confident managing behaviour using a calm, consistent approach
- Is flexible, proactive and committed to inclusive education
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills
