We’re recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to join a school in Formby, L37, starting 26th September 2026.

The role

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils

• Help pupils overcome barriers to learning

• Support pupils academically, socially and emotionally

• Work closely with the class teacher and wider school team

• Encourage pupils to develop confidence and independence

• Build positive and supportive relationships with pupils

We’re looking for someone who is

• Passionate about supporting children and young people

• Patient, approachable and resilient

• Confident communicating with pupils and staff

• Reliable and committed to a full-time school role

• Experienced in working with children, or a graduate looking to enter education
