A forward-thinking secondary school in London is seeking an ambitious Graduate Computer Science Trainee Teacher to join its successful Computing department from September 2026.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a talented Computer Science graduate looking to begin a rewarding teaching career through a fully supported, school-based teacher training programme leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Working alongside experienced teachers, you will gain invaluable classroom experience before progressively taking responsibility for planning and delivering engaging Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You'll help students develop essential skills in programming, computational thinking, cyber security and digital literacy, inspiring them to pursue careers in one of the world's fastest-growing industries.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A 2:1 degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, Information Technology or a closely related subject.
  • A genuine ambition to become a qualified Computer Science Teacher.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java or JavaScript is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for technology and inspiring young people.
  • Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
  • The right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
