About the Role
This is a dynamic and rewarding opportunity where you will support teaching and learning across the school. You will:
- Work across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, supporting all year groups
- Assist in delivering engaging and well-structured lessons alongside class teachers
- Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups of pupils
- Confidently cover whole classes when required, ensuring continuity of learning
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Support pupils’ academic progress as well as their personal development
Candidate Requirements
- A degree in Early Childhood, Education Studies, Maths, English, or a related subject
- Strong academic background, including good A Levels and GCSEs (A–C) in English and Maths
- Experience working with children in a school or similar setting is desirable
- Ability to support both KS1 and KS2
- Confidence in managing and leading a class when needed
- Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for education and supporting young learners
