Location: Head office, Caterham, Surrey (Own Transport Required), with opportunities to work from sites across London
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000, based on experience

We are a well-established demolition and deconstruction company, and were looking for a motivated individual to join our team. This role is ideal for someone eager to develop their skills in estimating, project planning, and cost analysis within the demolition sector.
What Youll Be Doing
As a Trainee Estimator, you will:
? Learn how to review architectural and structural drawings to prepare demolition cost estimates
? Assist with site visits to assess projects during the tender process
? Work alongside experienced estimators, project managers, and contractors to gather information
? Help analyse and quantify materials, labour, and equipment costs for demolition projects
? Support the preparation of cost breakdowns, risk assessments, and bid proposals
? Gain experience using estimating software (Active Take-off)
? Develop an understanding of demolition techniques, waste management, and site safety regulations
What Were Looking For
- Enthusiasm to learn and build a career in demolition/deconstruction estimating
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Basic understanding of construction or demolition (education or work experience preferred but not essential)
- Ability to interpret technical drawings (training will be provided)
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
