Kohn Pedersen Fox is seeking to recruit well-rounded Intermediate Architectural Designers to work in its central London office on a number of exciting, large-scale international and local projects. The successful applicants will be responsible for specific design aspects of an assigned project, including developing designs, computational modelling, preparation of architectural drawings and working closely with senior designers and other building professionals.
Requires a RIBA Part 2 qualification or equivalent in Architecture, Architectural Design or a closely related field, plus 5 years of post-graduate progressive experience as an Architect, Architectural Designer, or related occupation and 5 years of experience with the below:
- Conceptualising, creating, designing, planning and developing new constructions projects through all phases, including concept design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation and construction administration.
- Utilising architectural design, including MEP systems, structural systems, vertical transportation systems, façade and curtain wall design technical details, taking into account code and zoning requirements, environmental regulations, urban constraints and cities\’ requirements.
- Preparing presentations through all phases using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop. Illustrator and InDesign.
- Using Rhino, Enscape, and Photoshop to perform 3D modelling, designing, rendering, and visualisation.
- Drafting technical drawing sets and other architectural documents through all phases using CAD and Revit software.
