KPC Group are looking for a full-time Drywall Estimator to join our Team, at our Tenterden Office.
Job Role Description
The Drywall Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project drawings and specifications, preparing cost estimates, scrutinising labour and material costs, collaborating with construction project managers and assessing risks associated with specific projects. Daily tasks will include communicating with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing, managing bid proposals, and ensuring accurate project budgeting from start to finish.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to interpret project drawings and specifications and estimate costs accurately
- Experience in cost estimation, budget preparation, and financial analysis within the construction industry
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for collaborating with suppliers, subcontractors, and project managers
- Proficiency in using estimating software and other relevant computer applications
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Relevant qualification in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field
- Previous experience as a drywall estimator or in a similar role is advantageous
