KPay Group (“KPay”) is a leading fintech company committed to empowering businesses of all sizes through simple, seamless, smart and secure technology solutions. Serving more than 89,000 merchants across Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore, KPay helps unlock growth potential by building a one-stop platform for financial management, business operations, and digital transformation. In 2024, KPay raised a record-breaking USD 55 million in its Series A funding round - the largest globally in the payments sector that year. The company has since been recognised as PayTech of the Year at the 2025 Asia FinTech Awards, selected on Forbes Asia’s 100 to Watch list in 2025 and ranked among Singapore's Top FinTech Companies 2026 list, curated by Tech in Asia and Statista. This role will be based either in London or Manchester.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the UK product roadmap for KPay's offering — from discovery to launch.
  • Feature Discovery: Continuously identify real pain points faced by UK merchants — through direct conversations, sales/support feedback, and market research — and turn them into clear, well-scoped feature ideas.
  • New Product Launches: Drive new products and features from concept through to market launch, working hands-on across the full lifecycle rather than just writing specs and handing off.
  • Localization: Adapt KPay's global product to UK-specific needs — local payment methods, hardware/compliance requirements, language, and merchant workflows — so the product genuinely fits how UK SMEs operate.
  • Work with engineering and design teams (UK and HQ) to translate requirements into clear specs and user stories, and ship features that address UK-specific needs.
  • Testing, Launch & Execution: Plan and run QA/UAT cycles, coordinate go-to-market and rollout logistics, and stay closely involved post-launch to monitor adoption and fix issues quickly.
  • Partner with Compliance/Legal to ensure the product meets UK regulatory requirements (FCA, PCI-DSS, PSD2/Open Banking, etc.).
  • Analyse product usage data and merchant feedback to continuously improve the platform.
  • Act as the voice of the UK market within KPay's global product organisation.

Requirements:

  • A true payments/fintech enthusiast — someone who's genuinely curious about how fintech, acquiring, and POS ecosystems work, and who gets excited about bringing new features and innovation to market, not just managing a backlog.
  • 2+ years of Product Management experience, with hands-on experience in online/offline payments and/or POS systems (acquiring, card processing, merchant hardware, or SaaS commerce tools).
  • Solid understanding of the payments value chain (acquiring, gateways, settlement, chargebacks) and/or POS hardware/software ecosystems.
  • Down-to-earth and execution-oriented — comfortable rolling up your sleeves and doing the grunt work (testing, coordinating launches, chasing bugs, following up with merchants) rather than staying purely strategic.
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, design, sales, and compliance teams across regions/time zones.
  • Data-driven approach to prioritisation and decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills — able to plan workstreams, set clear milestones, manage dependencies across teams (engineering, design, compliance, sales), and keep things moving without constant oversight.
  • Results-oriented — comfortable owning outcomes end-to-end, tracking progress against goals, and adjusting the plan when things don't go as expected rather than waiting to be told what to do.
  • Experience launching products in a new market or region is a plus.
  • Proficiency in additional languages (beyond English) is a plus.

How to prepare for a job interview at KPay Group

Understand the Product Life Cycle

Bring specific insights on tools like JIRA or Trello that can help streamline these processes.
