KPay Group (“KPay”) is a leading fintech company committed to empowering businesses of all sizes through simple, seamless, smart and secure technology solutions. Serving more than 89,000 merchants across Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore, KPay helps unlock growth potential by building a one-stop platform for financial management, business operations, and digital transformation. In 2024, KPay raised a record-breaking USD 55 million in its Series A funding round - the largest globally in the payments sector that year. The company has since been recognised as PayTech of the Year at the 2025 Asia FinTech Awards, selected on Forbes Asia’s 100 to Watch list in 2025 and ranked among Singapore's Top FinTech Companies 2026 list, curated by Tech in Asia and Statista.

Join KPay's founding UK Business Development team and play a key role in launching our newest market. Based in London or Manchester, you'll be responsible for identifying and acquiring new merchants through field sales, canvassing, and relationship building. This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact from day one while growing your career with a fast-growing global fintech company.

Responsibilities:

  • High-Volume, Relentless Outreach: Conduct high-volume, persistent cold outreach on a daily basis — this is a hunter role, not a farmer role. No single channel is off-limits.
  • Multi-Channel Prospecting: Combine door-to-door visits, cold calling, and other outbound channels (email, social, referrals, events) as needed to build and fill your own pipeline. Conduct in-person meetings and product demonstrations with prospective merchants, showcasing KPay's payments and POS solutions.
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline; consistently meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing within approved guidelines to close new business.
  • Build strong relationships with merchants to support onboarding and drive referrals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, meetings, and deals in the CRM.
  • Adaptability & Performance Management: Be willing to work within KPay's sales systems and processes, take on new challenges as the role evolves, be actively managed against performance targets, and consistently push to achieve high performance.
  • Provide market feedback (competitor activity, merchant needs) to the wider Sales and Product teams.

Requirements:

  • Ambitious, sales- and results-driven — someone who is hungry to overachieve targets, and who takes ownership of their own numbers.
  • Genuine care for customers — someone who truly wants to understand merchants' problems and provide real value, not just close a deal and move on.
  • Comfortable with a high-activity role involving daily outreach, rejection, and travel within the territory.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and resilient, but also coachable — open to feedback, direction, and being managed towards higher performance.
  • We care less about years of experience and more about mindset — we're looking for people who want to help shape and build the UK market together with us from the ground up.
