Job description: As a Trainee Welder, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in the field of fabrication and welding. This position will be based in Halesfield, Telford. You will work closely with experienced welders to gain hands-on experience and training. The hours of work would be Monday - Thursday, 7am-4pm and Friday 7am-1pm. Suitable candidates must have a level 2 or 3 NVQ or City & Guilds in welding. * Learn and master the techniques of MIG welding and other fabrication methods * Assist in fabricating and welding tasks under the guidance of experienced welders * Learn to use other types of machinery * Learn about the powder coating systems and how to use them * Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times in the workshop * Maintain a clean and organized work environment * Take part in training sessions and demonstrate a willingness to learn and improve welding skills Qualifications: * NVQs (Level 2 or 3) in Fabrication and Welding Engineering * Experience of working in a manufacturing environment * Interest in welding and fabrication as a career * Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced professionals * Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols * Ability to work with various tools and equipment * Good attendance and time keeping records
