Responsibilities
- Operate various manufacturing machines and equipment during night shifts, ensuring smooth and continuous production flow.
- Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot machinery using fabrication techniques, hand tools, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to prevent downtime and ensure safety standards are met.
- Handle materials efficiently, including loading, unloading, and organizing inventory within the warehouse or production area.
- Assemble components accurately according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Maintain detailed records of production activities, machine performance, and quality checks to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in fabrication and assembly processes.
- Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machine operation and troubleshooting.
- Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively for fabrication and assembly tasks.
- Knowledge of materials handling procedures within a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments.
- Prior warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding inventory management and materials flow
