We are seeking a proactive and versatile Fabrication & Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for handling materials, operating warehouse equipment, and supporting fabrication processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate warehouse machinery to load, unload, and move materials across the facility.
- Efficient use of multiple saws and take measures.
- Manage stock levels using warehouse management systems to ensure accurate inventory control.
- Handle materials efficiently, including picking, packing, and preparing shipments for dispatch including wrapping pallets and products together.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing goods against documentation.
- Safely move glass and apply relevant protection.
- Conduct heavy lifting of steel packs safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by stocking supplies, managing waste disposal, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
