We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling materials, managing stock, and supporting shipping and receiving operations within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience or mechanical knowledge to contribute to efficient operations while developing their skills further.
- Handling materials, including loading, unloading, and moving stock throughout the warehouse
- Managing inventory using warehouse management systems to track stock levels and locations
- Picking and packing orders accurately for dispatch
- Ensuring products are stored in accordance with safety standards
- Assisting with shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and quality control checks
- Performing mechanical tasks related to warehouse equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Conducting quality control inspections to ensure products meet company standards
- Supporting load and unload activities for delivery vehicles, ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times.
Previous experience in a warehouse environment is essential. Knowledge of materials handling, picking & packing, and stock management systems is advantageous. Mechanical knowledge or experience with warehouse equipment is desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during load & unload activities. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and quality control tasks. Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and perform manual handling tasks throughout the shift. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Any previous wood working experience would be advantageous.
