You’ll ensure all works meet food safety, legal, regulatory and engineering standards, while maintaining strong control of CAPEX spend.
This is a hands-on role overseeing a broad portfolio of projects, typically valued from £100,000 up to £30 million, playing a critical role in enabling KP Snacks to deliver its long-term growth ambitions.
What’s in it for you?
- £7,500 annual car allowance.
- Annual bonus scheme, with a strong track record of overachievement.
- Comprehensive healthcare support – including Medicash Health Cash Plan or Private Healthcare, Digital GP, Best Doctors second opinion service and specialist cancer care.
- KP Pension Plan – contribution matching up to 7% of your salary.
- 25 days holiday, plus the option to buy more.
- KP4ME – our online platform for benefits, discounts, wellbeing tools and more.
What will you be doing?
- Leading major capital expansion projects by delivering the full project lifecycle from concept, feasibility and design through to construction, commissioning and handover in a live food manufacturing environment.
- Managing building and civil engineering programmes including new builds, major extensions and internal reconfigurations that support site growth and long-term capability.
- Owning CAPEX planning and governance by setting budgets, forecasting spend, controlling costs and ensuring robust financial and approval processes are applied throughout.
- Ensuring safety, food safety and compliance by applying KP Snacks engineering standards, legal requirements and risk management processes, and ensuring contractor activities meet Health and Safety expectations.
- Working as part of the Central Engineering team by contributing to internal customer satisfaction, technical standards, manufacturing excellence and the achievement of wider business objectives.
- Collaborating across Sites and partners by building strong, trusted relationships with Site teams, Central functions and external contractors to deliver a one team, one goal approach.
