Join our snack-loving team. We are looking for an Engineering Projects Manager to join us at KP Snacks. If you are ready to bring your ideas to the table, grow your skills and be part of a team that values what makes you, you – this could be your next big move.
As Central Engineering Projects Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the achievement of KP Snacks' business objectives by ensuring our plant, equipment, site services, land and buildings are maintained and developed to the standards required for food manufacturing for our brands and the major multiples.
Working as a core member of the Central Engineering team, you will provide end-to-end oversight of capital and improvement projects across our UK Sites. From early concept through to commissioning and full handover, you will lead projects that may involve reconfiguration of Sites, relocation or installation of equipment, and enabling works to support operational change. This is a highly collaborative, mobile role, requiring regular travel between sites and overnight stays. You will work closely with Site teams, Central functions and external partners, applying Intersnack Work Systems and the Initiative Management Pillar to deliver safe, compliant and effective outcomes.

What will you be doing?
- Providing central engineering oversight by ensuring plant, equipment, site services, land and buildings are maintained and developed to standards suitable for food manufacturing and major retail customers.
- Delivering capital projects end to end by managing the full project lifecycle from concept, design and approval through to installation, commissioning and full handover.
- Supporting site change and reconfiguration by overseeing equipment moves, enabling works and engineering solutions that allow projects to be delivered safely with minimal operational disruption.
- Contributing to Central Engineering performance by supporting internal customer satisfaction, compliance, capital budget control, technical standards and manufacturing excellence.
- Embedding Intersnack Work Systems by applying the principles of the Initiative Management Pillar to drive structured, consistent and high-quality project delivery.
- Championing safety and compliance by ensuring all activities meet Health and Safety, food safety, legal and regulatory requirements, including contractor control.

- Strong engineering experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or another regulated environment.
- Proven ability to deliver a wide range of capital projects from concept to full handover.
- Experience managing plant, equipment and site infrastructure within live manufacturing operations.
- A clear understanding of Health and Safety, compliance and technical standards in food production.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with confidence working across multiple sites and stakeholder groups.
- Flexibility to travel frequently and stay overnight as required.
- A degree in Engineering or similar. An HNC or equivalent experience gained through a craft apprenticeship, supported by extensive practical experience, will also support success in this role.
